In this new month we will be starting a new series “Success”.
3 John 2 says “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. God is speaking to us through his servant here and assuring us that we are meant to prosper and be successful in whatever we do as long as we are alive, yet it is quite disheartening that many believers are living below God’s expectation.
Success is not determined by the physical accomplishments or the wealth and riches we have acquired. True success is staying in one’s own lane and fulfilling God’s true purpose for our lives. We were not created by God to just simply exist and live a mediocre life, our lives are meant to be a success story.
Jeremiah 1:5 says “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Psalm 139-13 says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. This clearly proves to us that God had a purpose for our creation and existence. You are not a mistake or another statistic; you were created to fulfill a purpose and realizing that purpose is the ultimate measure of success in life.
How to discover God’s plan and purpose for your life.
- Your design – Every product is designed to fulfill a specific purpose. What is your passion? What do you love to do? Check your gifting, what are you good at? Whatever problems irritate you the most is a clue to what you were sent to solve.
- The true purpose of any product can only be discovered by tapping into the mind of the manufacturer. Spend time in prayer asking God why he created you; seek him daily to know his mind and purpose for you.
