Accessing the Supernatural Part II.
The first key to gaining this spiritual access is prayer; the second key is Sanctification.
Sanctification is the second work of grace after the forgiveness of sin. This is a pivotal process where God starts to chisel away at our hearts, taking away the sinful nature, taking away the old habits, lifestyles and mindsets and purifying us.
After we have been saved, it is not just enough to pray and think that is sufficient to access the supernatural realm where God dwells; our hearts have to be totally purified and sanctified. We cannot continue in old, unholy habits and think God will hear us and we will receive his blessings. The bible says in Romans 6:1-2 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
We hear many teachings about the grace of God and often times we have been made to believe that God’s grace is sufficient for us as long as we confess our sins, but that is not the full picture, that is true, but we have to reach a level of maturity in Christ where we do not continue repeating the same sin over and over and asking for forgiveness over and over again.
God loves us, He has forgiven us, but we must also grow spiritually. We cannot access or dwell in the supernatural realm if we are not sanctified.
