A Miracle is defined as an historic event or natural phenomenon that violates natural laws. God is ready to do great miracles, but first we must create an atmosphere where He can dwell and work freely in our lives.
The Spirit of Sacrifice
One of the ways to engage God’s hands is through sacrificial service. This is when we fully commit our life to God both physically and spiritually. Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:1 “ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
We must live sinless lives and die to self to give God room to move. A sacrifice will always cost you something; it is never convenient. It will cost you your time, effort, finances and resources, but be assured that whatever we sacrifice is a divine investment.
The Spirit of Service
Matthew 25:37-40: Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
It is great to serve in the house of God, but serving is not limited to church alone. We must start caring for one another, serving one another, putting our needs and wants aside to cater to the needs of others. As children of God it is time to start reaching out to our local community more than ever before.
