Keys to Uncommon Success Part 3

This week we will continue our new series “Success – The believer’s covenant right”.

Success is not natural; it is spiritual, if it was easy or natural, then it would be easily attainable by all. Success is God’s signature; His presence in our lives is made evident by our success and progress.

Joseph’s life is a prime example of the presence of God causing a man to succeed in everything he touches, regardless of the circumstance or situation.Genesis 39: 2-3 says “The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.

Joseph’s situation was not pleasant; he was sold as a slave and ended up serving an Egyptian master. He went from Potiphar’s house to the prison, but the presence of God followed him everywhere and was evident in his life so much that he found favor wherever he was and all that he touched succeeded. Everyone he came across knew God’s hand was upon him, in Potiphar’s house he was in charge of everything and in prison he was put in charge of all the other prisoners.

When God’s presence is evident in your life, success and prosperity is inevitable, however we have to play our part to ensure we do not lose that presence, it is one thing to attain it and another thing to maintain it. Let us use a building as an example, if it is not maintained and properly looked after, after a while it will start to fall apart and become dilapidated, it takes hard work to achieve success and hard work to also maintain it, success is never achieved by doing absolutely nothing.
