The presence of God is very crucial in the life of a believer if we are ever going to live a life of dominion. The presence of God triggers miracles, wholeness and it determines how far we can go in life. The evidence of the presence of God is the glory of God and to carry that glory there are few steps we must take, today we’ll focus on Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4 KJV
This is one of the most important protocols in the kingdom, you cannot come into the presence of God without giving thanks. We focus so much on the things we are yet to accomplish but hardly thank God for all he has already done.
Thanksgiving precedes praise. Praise is one of the quickest ways to experience the presence and glory of God so this simply means anyone who is not thankful can never praise God and a life that is void of praises to God can never experience His presence.
In Thessalonians 5:18 “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Paul is reminding us that gratitude is God’s will.
We must learn to be thankful not only to God but also to our fellow brethren. Anytime anyone does something good for you or shows you favor, no matter how big or small you may think it is, be thankful and grateful always. Giving thanks is not reserved for thanksgiving holidays–it must be our daily lifestyle.
